Abstract
Sharing the new approach of the offline teacher 4.0. An innovative teaching strategy
based on gamification for upper secondary education is described. Following the
experience of distance learning during the pandemic, a face-to-face model is proposed
that integrates formal and informal learning in a dynamic and motivating environment.
The central proposal is Universe II LEOYE, a universe of five worlds (Notes, Synthesis,
Paraphrase, Summary, and Synopsis) in which students, organized into communities,
design avatars and overcome challenges distributed across four levels: information
search, tutorial creation, creative application through cultural products (memes, TikToks,
artistic works), and competitive games. The reward system includes trophies, shields, and
badges, fostering collaboration, motivation, and perseverance. The strategy is based on
the offline teacher 4.0 approach, which combines the digital and the human, adapting to
students' needs and promoting transversal skills. It is highlighted that gamification
transforms assessment into a continuous improvement process, reducing failure rates to a
historic low of 0%. Among its advantages are the accessibility of materials, socio-
emotional development, and applicability in diverse contexts; among its disadvantages
are noise and the constant pressure from students. In conclusion, the teacher is seen as a
designer of meaningful learning environments, capable of engaging young people
through current trends and strengthening both their academic and emotional skills. The
offline 4.0 approach is presented as a humanistic model that seeks educational excellence
and holistic development.
